I am a poet and illustrator born and educated in West Virginia, currently living in mountainous Vermont. Through art I explore ideas of home, heredity, language, religion, and the whimsy of the woods. I am passionate about the German language and music, and recently I have worked teaching English to high schoolers in Austria. I have seven chickens and I love them all equally!
